Black Jack Strategies

A dream come true for blackjack lovers! If you love the game and you can't get enough of playing at your favorite blackjack table, then you'll be pleased to know that you can now play live blackjack from the comfort of your home any time you would like.

Counting cards in live blackjack will not do you any good at an online live blackjack table because the casino shuffles the multiple decks before you can have a significant statistical advantage over the blackjack payout percentages. If you do want to learn about counting cards it is easy to learn. Check out the article for more information.

So what are the mechanics of playing webcam live blackjack?  How is it played?  First off, the player must remember that the aim of blackjack is to obtain a hand whose total value adds up to 21 or less.  The value of the player’s hand should never go over 21, or else he will “bust”; in other words, he will lose the game.

How do you beat the dealer in a game of live dealer blackjack?  That is a question that beginners to this game often ask themselves.  There are hundreds upon hundreds of strategies available on the Internet that claim to be a sure fire way of beating the dealer in blackjack, but the one think you should remember is that it is the simple strategies that work the best.

Live online blackjack combines the best of what the Internet can offer with the fun that a game of blackjack usually brings.  With this kind of blackjack, the player can experience the fun of playing this game as if he or she is really sitting at a table in a live casino

The Blackjack Dealer Plays His Hand

Many people who are interested in playing Blackjack have never heard of the surrender option, and that is because not all Blackjack games offer this option and this decision is a very rare one.  If you have never surrendered before because you have never heard of it, you aren’t alone.  You just may learn something that may save you some money at some point!

When Do I Surrender?

Surrendering is a decision that most people do not make in the game of Blackjack because this move is basically folding.  When you surrender in the game of Blackjack you are able to fold your hand and only pay out half of the cost of your original bet.  The surrender is only an option if you have not taken any other action on the hand such as drawing a third card, splitting, or doubling down.  Once you do any of these things you no longer have the ability to surrender and you must play the hand.

There are two different types of surrenders which are early and late.  An early surrender is one that takes place before the dealer checks his or her own cards for a Blackjack, surrendering now offers a cheap way out and gives the player the advantage.  While this is a simple way to get out of the game if you feel the need, an early surrender is not seen very often.  In fact there are many people out there who have been playing the game for years and have never seen an early surrender.

The late surrender is a bit more common than the early surrender.  This decision can be made after the dealer checks his or her hand for a Blackjack, and then if he does not have a Blackjack all of the players will be given the opportunity to surrender their hands.  This is a bit more common, in fact there are a lot of experts who believe that some players surrender too many hands.  You should really stop and think about whether or not a late surrender, or any surrender for that matter, is the smart move. Many times you can play the hand and not do as badly as you thought you would.

The surrender is a nice tool to have on your side when you feel that you need it, but don’t simply give up.  If you use the surrender as a knee jerk reaction every time you get a not so good hand you pay be losing more money in your efforts not to lose money than you would lose if you just played the hand through to see what would happen.  Remember, you never know what card the dealer will deal next and you may very well get closer to 21 than he or she will.  Don’t lose hope in any hand too soon, instead stop and think about what the best option is for you, and sometimes, just sometimes it may be to surrender.

In blackjack, it does not matter what the suit of the card is. What matters is the card’s numeric value. All the picture cards – the king, the queen and the jack – all have a value of ten, while an ace can either be a one or an 11, depending on what the player wants it to be. An ace with the designated value of one is called a hard ace while the one with the value of 11 is referred to as a soft ace. To learn more on how to play live black jack click here
