Counting cards in live blackjack will not do you any good at an online live blackjack table because the casino shuffles the multiple decks before you can have a significant statistical advantage over the blackjack payout percentages. If you do want to learn about counting cards it is easy to learn. Check out the article for more information.

So what are the mechanics of playing webcam live blackjack?  How is it played?  First off, the player must remember that the aim of blackjack is to obtain a hand whose total value adds up to 21 or less.  The value of the player’s hand should never go over 21, or else he will “bust”; in other words, he will lose the game.

How do you beat the dealer in a game of live dealer blackjack?  That is a question that beginners to this game often ask themselves.  There are hundreds upon hundreds of strategies available on the Internet that claim to be a sure fire way of beating the dealer in blackjack, but the one think you should remember is that it is the simple strategies that work the best.

Live Blackjack: Blackjack and Card Counting

There are a lot of different strategies out there for how to play Blackjack with some sort of strategy that will help you win.  While many consider this a game of chance, if you know what you expect from the deck you can take the chance or the risk out of the game for a large part and end up more successful.  There are many different ways to count cards and most of them can be done quickly and easily, making the best of any cards dealt in a split second.

Counting Cards in Blackjack

Are you wondering how card counting can help you win at the game of Blackjack?  You might believe that you have to be a mathematics whiz at the game, but the fact is that you don’t have to be whatsoever.  If you can add and subtract one from just about any number you can become an expert card counter.

So, the process is really simple.  When a high card is dealt you’ll subtract one and when a low card is dealt you’ll add one.  The greater your count the more high cards that are still in the shoe and the more high cards that are in the deck the better the counting edge is for the player.  Many players couple this technique with keeping track of the number of decks of cards that are still in the shoe, which will give you an even better indication of how stacked the deck really is.

A lot of people think that they cannot possibly benefit from card counting because they have to memorize all of the cards in the shoe.  This is not possible for anyone to do and you do not need to memorize anything in the shoe.  You have to realize that card counters are simply making educated guesses based on adding and subtracting what they have seen come out of the shoe, in short when you are a card counter you will never know exactly what the next card will be, so you won’t be able to do things like hitting on 19 assuming that a 2 card will be next!  Counting simply gives the player an advantage, or as many refer to it, the counting edge.

Card counting has been in play for a long time, in fact it can be dated back to the 1950’s and 1960’s when it first began to get a bit of attention.  In fact, the first book on the subject was published in the 60’s when a mathematics professor wrote the book Beat the Dealer and today a lot of people use a counting system known as the hi-lo system, which is also simple and helps the average player keep track of the cards so he or she can change betting patterns to give them the counting edge.

There is a lot of information out there about card counting and many people have found that it is just what they need to give them the advantage when they are at a Blackjack table.  You don’t have to be a genius to put these strategies into play for you, you simply need to find the one that works best for you and implement it at every hand.

In blackjack, it does not matter what the suit of the card is. What matters is the card’s numeric value. All the picture cards – the king, the queen and the jack – all have a value of ten, while an ace can either be a one or an 11, depending on what the player wants it to be. An ace with the designated value of one is called a hard ace while the one with the value of 11 is referred to as a soft ace. To learn more on how to play live black jack click here
