Black Jack Strategies

A dream come true for blackjack lovers! If you love the game and you can't get enough of playing at your favorite blackjack table, then you'll be pleased to know that you can now play live blackjack from the comfort of your home any time you would like.

Counting cards in live blackjack will not do you any good at an online live blackjack table because the casino shuffles the multiple decks before you can have a significant statistical advantage over the blackjack payout percentages. If you do want to learn about counting cards it is easy to learn. Check out the article for more information.

So what are the mechanics of playing webcam live blackjack?  How is it played?  First off, the player must remember that the aim of blackjack is to obtain a hand whose total value adds up to 21 or less.  The value of the player’s hand should never go over 21, or else he will “bust”; in other words, he will lose the game.

How do you beat the dealer in a game of live dealer blackjack?  That is a question that beginners to this game often ask themselves.  There are hundreds upon hundreds of strategies available on the Internet that claim to be a sure fire way of beating the dealer in blackjack, but the one think you should remember is that it is the simple strategies that work the best.

Live online blackjack combines the best of what the Internet can offer with the fun that a game of blackjack usually brings.  With this kind of blackjack, the player can experience the fun of playing this game as if he or she is really sitting at a table in a live casino

Vegas Red Casino - Many online gamers find blackjack a very easy game to play.  But whether you find this game easy or not, you will definitely agree that blackjack is quite a simple game to play but its simplicity is also quite deceptive. How is live blackjack played?  In live blackjack, and essentially in any form of blackjack, the goal of any player is to get a hand with a total value of 21, or as close as he or she can get to that number, without going over.  If the player does go over, then he or she is “bust” and loses the game.

In blackjack, it does not matter what the suit of the card is.  What matters is the card’s numeric value.  All the picture cards – the king, the queen and the jack – all have a value of ten, while an ace can either be a one or an 11, depending on what the player wants it to be.  An ace with the designated value of one is called a hard ace while the one with the value of 11 is referred to as a soft ace.  The values of the rest of the cards are their indicated number.

A game of blackjack begins with the players placing in their bets until the dealer calls an end to the betting.  When all bets are in, the dealer then hands out two cards to each player on the table one at a time.  After all the players have their hands, the dealer gets his/her own hand of two cards.

There are actually two ways of dealing a hand in blackjack, namely the Nevada style and the London style.  In the Nevada style, the dealer hands out the cards to the players face down.  The dealer’s own hand has one card facing up and the other facing down.  In the London style, on the other hand, the players get their cards both facing up and the dealer only draws one card, which he or she places on the table also facing up.

Once this round of dealing is done, the dealer asks each player if he/she will stand or take a hit.  If the player gets a natural blackjack – which is a soft ace and a picture card – or if the player thinks that his/her hand is as close to 21 as it can get, he/she stands and does not take any more cards.  If the player is not satisfied with the value of his/her cards, he/she takes a hit (draws another card from the dealer) until he/she gets a 21 or close or until he/she busts.  Until this particular player stands or busts, the dealer will not move on to the other players.

When all the players have either busted or decided to stand, the dealer takes his/her turn on his/her hand.  In the Nevada deal, the dealer opens the card in his/her hand which is face down.  In the London deal, the dealer draws a card from the deck.  Now, if the dealer draws a natural blackjack, the players who have not busted but have hands with lesser values lose their bets.  However, if the dealer’s hand is not a natural blackjack, then he/she hits until the value of his/her hand reaches 17 or until he/she busts.

If the dealer busts, the players who did not bust win.  In case there is a tie, which is called a push in blackjack, the player who pushed only gets his bet back but not anything else.
